Highlights from the audio launch of Ratsasan

Actor Vishnu Vishal, who was last seen in the movie Katha Nayagan in 2017, is now ready with his next film Ratsasan. Directed by Ramkumar, the film is said to be a psychological thriller. The trailer of the film recently created a positive buzz on social media as it packed the right amount of suspense and thrill. The audio launch of the film took place yesterday (25th September), and everyone from Vishnu to the lead actress Amala Paul spoke about the film.

Producer G Dilli Babu said that he delighted that his production house Axess Film Factory is associated with a content-based movie like Ratsasan and that he was confident that everyone would love the film.

He went on to say ”When Ram Kumar narrated the story to me, I was completely surprised as to how a filmmaker who established himself with a comedy film like Mundasupatti, thought about making a thriller. But director Ram Kumar seemed confident. I am also happy that Trident Arts Ravindran sir came forward voluntarily saying that he would like to get associated with the film. After watching the film, he promised that he would be associated with every film that Axess Film Factory produces, which is a boon to us.”

Actor Vishnu Vishal said that he was happy to be teaming up with Ram after Mundasupatti. He said ”I am really proud that producer G Dilli Babu owns so much of passion for films. We started the film on a budget and it exceeded above the line. Nevertheless, he remained calm and composed. I am so happy that everyone who has already seen the film has been appreciating me that it’s the best till the date in my career. I am happy that the film is hitting screens on October 5. If this film is not going to be a hit by any chance, I promise here that I will do one more film for this great producer.”

Actress Amala Paul said she had apprehensions about working with director Ram. She said “When Ram Kumar narrated me the story for the first time, I was wondering why Ram didn’t look at me while narrating. Later, when I spoke to Vishnu Vishal about it he said that Ram is a shy person. When we began shooting for the film I just realized one thing that filmmakers with fewer words prove to be more genius. In fact, after watching the trailer, I just sent him a message saying, Ram, you are a genius.” She went on to say that the film will on par with international standards.

She also spoke about her co-star Vishnu Vishal who has now become one of her closest friends. She said how she is amazed by his confidence and his terrific acting talent.

Speaking at the event director Ramkumar said, “It’s been four years that I met all the media and press. I want to make use of this opportunity to thank each and everyone. The reason why I am so confident about the film is that each actor and technician has put 100%. Nearly 20 producers and 10 actors said they liked the story but could not be a part of it. Music director Ghibran’s music will also be the highlight of the film.”

Music Director Ghibran said, “There are few films that make you feel nervous before it’s release. Ratsasan is one such film. I am so happy that Ram Kumar has delivered what he had narrated me. Even I had a strange doubt if he will be able to give his best, but when I saw the output I am sure, everyone will love it.”

Ratsasan is set to release on October 5th, 2018
