Peranbu has been certified U/A, may release on Mammootty’s birthday

Good news for fans of Mammootty! The actor’s Tamil film is likely to release on his birthday, 7th September. What’s more? The film has also been certified with U/A. Director Ram, took to his Twitter handle to post the censor certification of the film. Going by the teaser, which has been released in the form of chapters, the film looks like an intense and emotional film.

In the first-teaser Mammootty, tries to mimic his specially-challenged daughter. During the process, he begins to understand how difficult it is for her. And how the comparison with others is unfair.
Peranbu is said to revolve around the life of a middle-class man, who works abroad as a taxi driver.
The film stars Anjali, Sarathkumar, Samuthirakani and ‘Thanga Meengal’ fame Baby Sadhana. The young actress will be seen as Mammootty’s daughter in the movie. The film also stars transwoman Anjali Ameer, who will play a pivotal role in the film.
Peranbu first premiered at the 47th International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) in January. It was adjudged as of the top 20 films in the festival. The film will release in Tamil and Malayalam.
