Bigg Boss Malayalam -16th July 2018, Episode 23 Update: On day 22, Deepan’s birthday celebration

Deepan’s wife Maya sends a greeting card and a birthday cake to surprise him. After that Bigg Boss asks the contestants to vote five nominees who doesn’t participate in any of the household matters. The contestants for the eviction process will be nominated only among those five nominees. Ranjini tells Bigg Boss that there are six nominees according to the poll. Aditi, Deepan, Sreelakshmi, Shiyas, Pearle and Srinish are the six nominees from whom the contestants would vote for the eviction process. Everyone nominates two contestants whom they feel were less involved in the house. To a surprise Ranjini votes for Srinish. He was the one to save her from the eviction process but this time Ranjini couldn’t save him. Bigg Boss announces that Aditi, Srinish, Sreelakshmi and Deepan are the four contestants nominated for the eviction process.

Archana and Diya advises Pearle to give more contribution to the house, otherwise it would be difficult for her to survive. They also tell her that she shouldn’t be afraid to express herself in front of everyone.

Later in the episode, a programme is organised in order to celebrate Deepan’s birthday. According to the programme, Bigg Boss house is a village where Anoop is Pushpalakshan Pilla, the president of panchayat committee. Shweta as herself inaugurates the programme by cutting the ribbon into half. Rest of the contestants becomes the villagers and organisers of programme.

The programme begins with a typical speech given by the president. After which Shweta tells to proceed with the cake cutting ceremony. It is a strawberry cake with a surprise box inside it. Everyone sings the happy birthday song in Malayalam and enjoys eating the cake. Deepan thanks his wife for the wonderful surprise and the ring. It is time for the real programme to begin. Pearle and Srinish dance to the folk song sung by Suresh while Anoop and Diya supports them by being part of the act. Next was Shiyas’s body show which is later accompanied by Anoop. Sreelakshmi and Sabu performs a tribal dance. Later the most beautiful ladies of the house, Ranjini and Archana performs a contemporary dance lip sink to the song sung by Pearle. Shweta kills the stage with a small act performed to another folk song sung by Suresh and Pearle. The birthday bash ends with the ramp walk of the four departments walking on the beats of Ranjini’s made up songs.
