Bigg Boss Malayalam – 18 August 2018, Episode 56 Update: On day 55, Shiyas the Pehalwan!

Day 55 dawns to the Bigg Boss theme song. Srinish and Suresh gets into a small dispute. Next it was time for them to meet the legendary superstar. Mohanlal tells them about the Kerala floods. Worried for their hometown going through the floods, the housemates get a little relief after they receive calls from their family members. But as it said by someone ‘the show must go on’, the contestants gets back to their tasks.

Aditi is called in the confession room. She is asked about different issues of the house. She also shares her feelings about Shiyas with Lalettan in the confession room. Shiyas tells lalettan that all the contestants are playing mind games against him. Later, with a superb song by Suresh, the contestants forget all the disputes and sing together happily.

In order to bring an ease to Shiyas’s complaint about the contestants constantly attacking him, Bigg Boss gives him a task. The contestants have to chase Shiyas and open the lock with keys hanging on the opposite side. Shiyas is blind folded with a dark piece of cloth but he is allowed to beat the contestants with the sticks provided. Aditi, Anoop, Hima, Suresh and Sabu wins the task while Basheer, Srinish, Archana and Pearle looses it to Shiyas. The contestants who won the task are asked to punish Shiyas. Each of them have to pick up a chit from the bowl and punish Shiyas accordingly. Shiyas completes all the punishments happily.

The episode winds up with Aditi trying to befriend with Shiyas again. But he tries to avoid her. Srinish consoles Aditi by saying that he is upset worrying about his family as the calls couldn’t be connected.

Kerala is in the midst of an unprecedented flood havoc. The calamity has caused immeasurable misery and devastation. The path to recovery can be long but you can make a difference by joining the rebuilding efforts and visualising a prosperous Kerala.
