Highlights from the audio launch of Saamy Square

It was a glitzy affair in Chennai’s Hilton, as audio of Saamy Square was launched. The event was attended by the lead actors including Vikram, Aishwarya Rajesh, Keerthy Suresh and other members of the cast and crew. Director Hari, and Vikram first teamed up for Saamy in 2003, the two have now teamed up for the sequel of the film. Speaking at the audio launch, director Hari gave away the storyline of the film. He indicated that Saamy Square will be a revenge drama, in which the story will start off after the death of Perumal Pichai (played by Kota Srinivasa Rao), and his son Ravana Pichai will take on Aarusaamy. Bobby Simha is playing the role of the antagonist in the film.
Vikram spoke about the music director of the film Devi Sri Prasad, calling him a shy person. He also spoke about DSP’s music which is fun, energetic. Vikram also said how happy he was to work with Aishwarya Rajesh in Dhruva Natchathiram and Saamy Square. He was also in praise of Keerthy Suresh. He said how amazed he is by her performance in Mahanati (Nadigaiyar Thilagam).
