Anjali Ameer wants to be a police officer
Anjali Ameer, who impressed everyone with her performance in Mammootty’s Peranbu, is back in the news once again. This time, it’s not for a film but another reason. India’s first transwoman, who has played a leading role in a movie aims to become a police officer someday.
The actress hasn’t signed any films, she has in fact joined Malabar Christian College in Kozhikode. She has decided to study BA Malayalam, speaking to the Times of India “I always loved Malayalam and used to get good marks for it at school,” she says. She has a clear idea on the kind of student that she will be. “I want to ensure that I don’t create issues and just mind my business, doing my course work,” she says.
The good news is that, she will still continue to act in movies. She will juggle between work and studies. She will soon be seen in a Tamil and Telugu movie.
