Film producer Gokulam Gopalan turns actor

Nivin Pauly and director Rosshan Andrrews have hit a jackpot with their 100-crore money-minter Kayamkulam Kochunni. However, the main person, who reaps well from the film is the producer, Gokulam Gopalan who has produced the film. Apart from producing super hit films such as Kayamkulam Kochuni and the Dileep starrer Kammara Sambhavam, he is also turning actor! Yes, the 74-year old producer is going to star in the lead role in the film Netaji. As the name suggests, it will be based on the Indian freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose.

The film will be written and directed by Vijeesh Mani, who previously directed ‘Vishwaguru’ (2017). The film features in the Guinness World Record for making and releasing a film in 51 hours and 2 minutes.
