Director Sankalp Reddy who made his debut with the film The Ghazi Attack is now ready with his next film Antariksham 9000 KMPH. Starring Varun Tej, Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles, it is Telugu cinema’s space thriller. According to the director, the film is about four astronauts who face hurdles on their mission in space. Just like The Ghazi Attack, this film will also boast of amazing VFX. A lot of research has been done based on the costumes worn by astronauts, their protective gear. It is also said that the director and his team wrapped by the space sequences in less than 50 days. In an interview to The Hindu, Varun Tej also stated about the challenges he and the team faced during the shoot. He said that they did 12-hour shoots and in those hours they had to carry the Extravehicular Activity (EVA) related appendage, which weighed about 15 kilos. Given that it was very hot, he said that the whole experience has been painful.
