Mohanlal to star in a film based on Koodathayi murder case

Between 2002-2016 six people were murdered in a family by a family member! The prime accused in the case? Jolly Joseph, who confessed to have mixed cyanide with food to claim the family property. This has shocked Kerala, and the rest of the country. It has also caught the interest of the film industry!

Producer Antony Perumbavoor has announced a film based on the incident. None other than Mohanlal will play the lead as an investigating officer. Meanwhile, it is speculated that director Jeethu Joseph direct the film starring Mohanlal.

Actress Dino Daniel also took to her Facebook page to announce a film on the same theme. Aspiring filmmaker Arun Mohan will also make a film on this.

This won’t be the first time that a film is based on the killings. In 1966, Mynatharuvi Kola Case and Madatharuvi were made on the murder of a widow where a priest was convicted.
