Watch the original and remixed version of Ninnu Road Meeda

Seldom do actors get a chance to star in the remixed version of their father’s popular film song. The actor who holds this honour is Naga Chaitanya Akkineni; as he stars in the remixed version his father’s Ninnu Road Meeda. The song appears in Naga Chaitanya’s new film Savyasachi.

Originally composed by M. M. Keeranavi, the song starred the dashing Nagarjuna Akkineni and the gorgeous Ramya Krishnan. The original was set against the backdrop of funky graffiti, bold pop-art, and a desert theme – which made the video cooler, way back in 1993 (the song appeared in Allari Alludu). The remixed version sees Naga Chaitanya and Nidhhi Agerwal show off their amazing dance skills which has been choreographed by dance master Shekar. While the original was sung by SP Balasubramaniam and Chitra, the new version has been sung by Prudhvi Chandra and Mounima.
