Prithviraj and Mohanlal team up for Lucifer

Looks like Prithviraj Sukumaran is the talk of the town these days. After announcing his collaboration with Sony Pictures to produce his first home production in Malayalam cinema, Prithviraj is now gearing up to make his directorial debut. The dashing actor is all set to direct a film starring superstar Mohanlal in the lead. Titled Lucifer, the film is said to be an entertainer which has been scripted by Prithviraj and Murali Gopy.

A video featuring Mohanlal, Prithviraj, Murali Gopy, and producer Antony Perumbavoor, (who is producing the project under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas) was posted on Mohanlal’s Facebook page recently. In the video, Mohanlal promised that the film would be a full-fledged entertainer and it’s not that easy to make an entertainer. “Lucifer will be a good film. It will have an interesting story with narration techniques. ” The director of the movie Prithviraj added that they will soon decide the shooting schedules.

Meanwhile, Mohanlal’s next film Odiyan is his most ambitious project in recent times as it will be released in 3D. It will mark the debut of ad filmmaker VA Shrikumar Menon.
