Puvisha’s Nalinakanthi is ready for release!

Actress Puvisha Manoharan has wrapped up her portions with National award-winning actor VIS Jayapalan in the film Nalinakanthi, which has been directed by Ponn Suhir. The film will tell the tale of a surgeon who is diagnosed with a dementia-like illness, and a nurse is assigned to take care of him. The film is also said to explore the hardships and struggles faced by the nurse. The director, Ponn Suhir, studied at New York University’s Tisch School Of The Arts. In 1992, legendary director Martin Scorsese was the head of the department during that year. He has made English films such as On Path To Liberation and Proscenium. However, Nalinakanthi will be his first Tamil film.

Speaking to a leading daily, he showered praises on Puvisha’s performance. He said that he auditioned several actors for the role, however, it was Puvisha who emoted perfectly. One has to note that Puvisha featured as Deepika Padukone‘s cousin sister in Chennai Express.
