Now the year is almost coming to an end, filmmakers are busy wrapping up their projects in plans of releasing it for the next festivity, Pongal 2019. The team of Director Siva’s Viswasam starring Ajith in the lead were the first ones to announce that the film will release on Pongal. Now, in recent developments, it is confirmed that the film Rajinikanth and director Karthik Subbaraj‘s Petta will release on Pongal as well. The recent poster released by the team confirmed the same.

That’s not all, actor Simbu and director Sundar C‘s Vantha RajaVaThan Varuven will also release on Pongal. Simbu issued a press release assuring fans that the film will release on the festival. His statement read ”My vehement request to my Dearest of Fans & Admirers! Please do not worry about the recent happenings in the industry. No one person can take a decision to side-line us. Any decision taken will always be a decision by Group of members & council & we will ensure it gets resolved to our best. Don’t get anxious and target any particular person. Always spread Love. The list doesn’t end there! RJ turned actor Balaji will also join the Pongal race. He is all set to make his debut in a full-length role in LKG which is directed by Prabhu. The film is said to be a remake of the remake of Danish Sait starrer Kannada film Humble Politician Nograj. The latest poster of the film spoof’s the freebies given and how it landed in controversy in Sarkar.
Looks like it will be a film bonanza this Pongal. But the real question is, which one of these films will actually release on the day?
