Karthik Subbaraj is on cloud nine at the moment. Wondering why? That’s because Superstar Rajinikanth loved his new film, Mercury. Starring Prabhu Deva in the lead, ‘Mercury’ is a silent film based on the Kodaikanal Mercury Poisoning. The film released in Tamil Nadu a week after its original release date, due to the TFPC strike. The film also stars Indhuja, Sanath Reddy and Deepak Ramesh in supporting roles.

One has to note that Karthik Subbaraj’s next film stars Rajinikanth in the lead, and is produced by Sun Pictures.
