Shocking! Ramya Krishnan was operated before filming for Sankeertana

In a shocking revelation, Ramya Krishnan revealed to Outlook that she had steel rods placed after an operation, and still dance in the film Sankeertana. When Ramya Krishnan, was working on a film set she accidentally stepped on the floor, which was only a piece of cloth. After stepping on it, she fell 15th feet down, injuring her leg.

Ramya Krishnan then had a tough recovery period after that. She underwent three surgeries to fix her broken leg, and steel rods were put in inside, after which grafting was done. Despite that, she went on to perform classical dances in the film Sankeertana in the year 1987. After all the pain and hard work, Ramya Krishnan went on to become a star! Her performance won her accolades and praises. The scar from the injury is still there on Ramya Krishnan’s leg, but that’s also a proof that she became a hot-shot star after that.
