Rana Daggubati begins prepping for his role as Chandrababu Naidu

Yesterday, actor Rana Daggubati took to his Twitter account to share a photograph of himself along with Chandrababu Naidu and captioned it: “What an honour it is to play the role of the Honourable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. N.Chandrbabu Naidu in the ‘NTR’ biopic. Thank you sir for giving us your valuable time.” Fans of the actor lauded him for working on an interesting role, where users posted ”Your hardwork and determination to tell better stories is bringing in so many diversified characters” another user said ” One more user posted ”I was stunned by our decision to play CBN and then realised if not Rana no one has guts to play it. ”

Now, the actor has begun prepping up for the role by doing his bit of research on the political leader. He took to his Instagram to share a photo of the book ‘India’s Glocal Leader: Chandrababu Naidu’ written by Tejaswini Pagadala. The book chronicles the life of Chandrababu Naidu’s political career.

Directed by Krish, and said to release in Sankaranti 2019, the film will is based on the life of NTR, including the phase before he became an icon. The film stars his son Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead. Apart from him, the film also stars Bollywood actor Vidya Balan. The late NTR was a popular Telugu film actor and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
