SIIMA Awards Nominations 2022: Pushpa Grabs Spotlight With 12 Nominations!

The South Indian International Movie Awards, popularly known as SIIMA Awards unveils the nominee list for SIIMA 2022. The list spans various categories under all four south Indian cine worlds, Kollywood, Tollywood, Mollywood, and Sandalwood.
The 10th edition of #SIIMA will occur in Hyderabad on 10th and 11th September 2022.
Pushpa – The Rise, a Telugu action drama, grabs a whopping 12 nominations. Akhanda took ten nominations, followed by Jathi Ratanalu and Uppena with eight nominations each.
In Tamil, Karnan, an action drama film fetches ten nominations! Sivakarthikeyan’s Doctor received nine nominations, followed by Vijay’s Master and Thalaive with seven nominations.
In Malayalam, Tovino Thomas starring Minnnal Murali leads with ten nominations. Kurup, an autobiographical drama, takes second place with eight nominations. Malik and Joji took six nominations each.
In Kannada, Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana leads with ten nominations. Roberrt takes the next position with eight nominations, followed by Yuvarathnaa with seven nominations.
Under the category of the Tamil best film of 2021, Doctor, Sarpetta Parambarai, Karnan, Maanadu, Thalaivii, and Mandela are the nominees!
In Telugu, the most acclaimed Akhanda, the dramatical Pushpa – The Rise, Love Story, Jathi Ratanalu, and Uppena join the list.
With notable names, Mollywood deservingly has Minnal Murali, Kurup, The Great Indian Kitchen, Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam, and Joji featured.
Meanwhile, the list of nominations in Kannada includes box office winners like Roberrt, Yuvarathnaa, Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana, Salaga, and Bhajarangi 2.
