SIIMA 2019 which was held on 15th and 16th August 2019 at Doha, Qatar was a huge success! The two-day gala event saw celebrities from the Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil film Industries having a great time. The founder of SIIMA, Vishu Induri tweeted that among all the eight editions, this has been the most successful one. Sources who have been at most SIIMA awards have agreed to this. Our team at DGZ media who have been attending SIIMA awards from the past three years have called this the most glitzy and fun event!
The event had the biggest stars be a part of it. From Kannada film industries’ Yash to Telugu cinema’s evergreen superstar Chiranjeevi to Tamil cinema’s versatile Dhanush to Malayalam cinema’s superstar Mohanlal – every star made it a grand event. To add to it, the event saw the maximum number of attendees in the form of audiences as well.

SIIMA 2019 saw the biggest numbers in terms of digital & social media aspects. As per our analysis, the number of people searched for SIIMA worldwide on Google has increased by 300% compared to the previous year. Also, more than 100,000 social media posts were generated with SIIMA 2019 hashtags during the last 30 days which is way more than any movie awards in the country. More digital/social stats are yet to receive in the coming days.
