Dhanush’s call sheet in 2019 looks busy!

Dhanush is one of Kollywood cinema’s most well-known faces who has won national National and international acclaim through this choice of films. His film Vada Chennai which released a few weeks ago has hit the bullseye at the box office. Now, the actor has announced another exciting line up of films. Here’s what’s in store.

Dhanush and Mari Selvaraj

Director Mari Selvaraj‘s directorial, Pariyerum Perumal which highlighted the topic of caste-based violence is noted to be one of the best films of this year. The win has everyone praising about its unconventional style of filmmaking. The film has impressed Dhanush as well, which is why he will be teaming up with the director for his next film. The actor took to his Twitter to say ”Finally watched pariyerum perumal. Mind blown.The rawness nd life style shown is so real it feels u r there. congrats 2 d entire team.Also wud like 2 announce dir Mari selvaraj will b doing his next film with me under @theVcreations so excited to work with a talent like him.”

Dhaunsh and Ramkumar

Another film which won big at the box-office this year was director Ramkumar‘s Ratsasan, a haunting murder-mystery which gut-wrenching moments. Ramkumar will soon direct his next film starring Dhanush in the lead. It is said to be a fantasy film with commercial elements. Sounds interesting, isn’t it?

Dhanush and Vetrimaaran

After collaborating in films such as Polladhavan, Adukalam and Vada Chennai, director Vetrimaaran and Dhanush will team up for another film. Taking to the press meet of Vada Chennai, Dhanush announced that the two will team up for a film before they resume the shoot of Vada Chennai’s second part.

Prior to announcements of these films, Dhanush had an interesting line up with other A-list directors as well. It was reported that he will team up with director Anand L. Rai for a film. It was reported that he will also work in his brother, Selvaraghavan’s film and director Karthik Subburaj’s film. However, there hasn’t been any more details about these films.
