Actress Megha Akash recently made her Tamil film debut in Rajinikanth‘s Petta. Although the role was brief, it won Megha many admirers. Now, she will be seen in her full-fledged role in with director Sundar C‘s Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven in which she is paired opposite Simbu. The actress will play the same role, Samantha played in the Telugu version Atharintiki Daaredi.
However, did you know that this isn’t her first Tamil film? Megha Akash’s first Tamil film is Oru Pakka Kathai. Directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan, the shoot of the film began in 2014. The film also features actor Jayaram‘s son Kalidas Jayaram. After the initial news of the film being shelved, it was later resumed. It is reported that the film will release in an online streaming platform.
The Tollywood film industry turned lucky for Megha Akash. In 2017 she made her debut in the film Lie. She then worked in the film Chal Mohan Ranga in 2018.
Megha Akash then shot for her second Tamil film Boomerang in late 2017, however, the film is expected to release early this year. It is interesting to note that Megha Akash only shot for Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven in late 2018, and it will release much before her other Tamil films.
