All you need to know about Puvisha’s filmography

Actress Puvisha Manoharan is well-known for playing the role of Deepika Padukone‘s cousin in the 2013 film Chennai Express. Although her role was brief, Puvisha donned the role of a typical ‘Tamil ponnu’ in the film. Born in Malaysia to Tamil parents, Puvisha is a classical Bharatanatyam dancer. She also has an inclination towards sports.

Much before Chennai Express, Puvisha made her debut as Elizabeth in the film Paradesi directed by Bala. She further went on to make her Telugu debut in Jagannayakudu by veteran director PC Reddy. She was introduced as one of the heroines in the film. That’s not it, she further went on to win attention in her Kannada film debut Jil Jil which was directed by Madhu. Her role as Priya was appreciated. Her other films include Kombu by director Ibrahim (which is still in post-production stage), the Telugu movie Marokshanam directed by Dhananjay, Tamil Movie Mugamariyan directed by Sai Mora. She has also done brand shoots for Ervamatin and Big Bazaar among others.
