Dhanush hints about Maari 3

”if Maari 2 becomes a hit, we will go for Maari 3” said Dhanush at the press meet of the film Maari 2. This assurance is sure to excite fans of Dhanush and everyone else who liked Maari. Speaking at the press meet Dhanush said ”Maari 2 is an out-and-out masala film. It has mass scenes and we have justified the commercial entertainer tag. It is not easy to be Maari. He is not a good guy, he is not a bad guy. We want the audience to like him. I’ve done a lot of homework pulling off the role. I am sure we won’t disappoint you,”. He also said that he is the happiest when he plays the character of Maari, as it helped him ease his stress.

He went on to heap praises on his co-actors in the film. He said ” Thulluvadho Ilamai became a hit because of Yuvan. If that film didn’t become successful, I would not be here today. There’s one and only Yuvan.” He also said ”Tovino is one of the finest performers and he is a very good person. Varalaxmi speaks so fast, and it is difficult to match up to her speed. Sai Pallavi is the anchor of Maari 2. She does not accept a film easily. In Maari 2, I think she has acted better than me. She does not use glycerin and can well up easily.”

Dhanush first appeared as Maari in the 2015 film of the same name. He was loved for playing the fun and quirky don. Maari and Maari 2 has been directed by Balaji Mohan. The film will hit screens on 21st December.
