Mani Ratnam heads to Dubai to shoot Chekka Chivantha Vaanam

Director Mani Ratnam is famously known for delivering films which have a certain amount of charm and realism. However, there is something else that distinguishes him from other directors. Wondering what? Mani Ratnam holds the credit of shooting most of his films in India. Be it the exotic shots in the film Alaipayuthe or the stunning architecture landmarks portrayed in O Kadhal Kanmani – everything was shot in India. However, he did make a few exceptions for a few films such as Guru, and Kaatru Veliyidai where he shot in Turkey and Siberia respectively. Now, Mani Ratnam is making another expectation. The team of his latest film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam are headed to Dubai to shoot certain portions for the film.
Arun Vijay took to Twitter to post a picture stating that he is headed to shoot the final schedule of the film. The costume head of the film Eka Lakhani also posted an image on Twitter.

Apart from Arun Vijay, the film also stars Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles. The music of the film has been composed by A. R. Rahman.
