Producers’ Council issue notice to Vadivelu

Remember the news where we mentioned about Vadivelu backing out of Imsai Arasan 24 am Pulikecei? The actor cited financial and health issues as a reason for backing out of the film. Now, in recent developments, it is reported that the Producers’ Council has issued an ultimatum to Vadivelu demanding his to act in the film or face a penalty by paying a compensation of Rs 9 crore to the producers. And if he fails to answer them, he will be issued a red car by the Producers’ Council.
The film was set to be directed by Chimbu Devan and produced by Lyca Productions and director Shankar, under his banner ‘S pictures’. The team previously collaborated by ‘Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikecei’, which released in 2006. The film was a runaway hit at the box office.
