After 28 years, Santosh Sivan teams up with Rajinikanth

Cinematographer Santosh Sivan was highly appreciated for his work in director Mani Ratnam’s Thalapathy. The golden light which was a prominent aspect of the film, is still remembered by fans of the film. Now, after 28 years, Santosh Sivan is teaming up with Rajinikanth for this latest film.

Rajinikanth’s 166th film, is with ace director A. R. Murugadoss, and the preproduction for the film has already begun. The film marks Santosh Sivan’s collaboration with A.R. Murugadoss for the second time. They first worked together in Thuppakki. It’s going to be quite a treat watching the National award-winning cinematography show superstar in a new light!

The movie is set to go on floors in March. The untitled film is scheduled to release on Pongal 2020.
