Star-Studded Wedding on the Horizon: Arjun Sarja’s Daughter Aishwarya to Marry Umapathy

Confirming the news, Thambi Ramaiah, the father of groom Umapathy, revealed that it all began with Umapathy’s participation as a contestant on the reality show Survivor, hosted by Arjun Sarja.

Just like Bollywood, the wedding season is in full swing in Kollywood as well. Aishwarya, the eldest daughter of actor Arjun Sarja, is all set to tie the knot with Umapathy, the son of actor Thambi Ramaiah. This highly anticipated wedding is expected to be a lavish event, adding to the excitement and glamour in the industry.

“It’s true. It all started with the reality show Survivor, which Arjun sir hosted and Umapathy participated in. It seems sir was impressed with Umapathy’s attitude, and that’s how everything began,” actor-director Thambi Ramaiah confirmed to The Hindu. He also mentioned that he had been searching for a suitable bride for Umapathy for some time until a few months ago when his wife asked him to stop looking. “I gave him until my birthday (June 19) to provide us with a name, and ten days before that, he informed me about Arjun sir’s daughter.”

Ramaiah further revealed that Umapathy desired to have the wedding take place this year itself. “A few days ago, both families met at the Anjaneyar temple, which Arjun sir had constructed, and decided to move forward. We recently met again at Arjun sir’s house. Sir and I will soon finalize the wedding date and officially announce it on Umapathy’s birthday, November 8. The wedding will take place in January 2024.”

While Umapathy made his entry into the film industry by starring in the lead role in the Tamil comedy thriller Adhagappattathu Magajanangalay (2017), Aishwarya made her cinematic debut with the action comedy Pattathu Yaanai (2013).
