The first look of Ajith’s Viswasam trends

The first look poster of Ajith’s Viswasam is here and it is setting social media on fire. The poster features Ajith in two avatars. Donning sunglasses, Ajith displays swag in both the looks. In one, he features in his trademark salt and pepper look, while the other shows Ajith sporting black beard and hair. This either indicates the actor playing dual roles or just younger/older versions of the character. The poster also features two backdrops; one of a city and the other a colourful festive region – giving us a hint that the story will travel through different places.

Last night (22nd August), Sathya Jyothi films took to their Twitter handle to make an announcement about the first look of their latest production Viswasam. Apart from the fact that this is about Ajith’s new film, the news caught the attention of fans, as the makers announced that the poster will release at 3.30 am early on Thursday morning. For starters, one must note that all of Sathya Jyothi’s films with Ajith have been announced on Thursdays as it is considered auspicious. The hashtags #ViswaramFirstlook, #ThalaAjith, AjithKumar, #Viswasa FL began trending on social media soon after the poster release.

The much-awaited film stars Nayanthara as the female lead. It also stars Anikha, Vivek, Robo Shankar and Yogi Babu among others. Recently, Ajith the team were shooting for a high action-sequence in Hyderabad.

The project marks director Siva’s fourth consecutive film with Ajith. The duo previously teamed up for Veeram, Vedalam and Vivegam. Viswasam is set to hit screens on Pongal 2019.
