Krish replaces Teja as the director of NTR’s Biopic

Remember when we told you, director Teja who was initially set to direct the biopic based on NTR’s life walked away from the project? Well, the news is now official! Director Krish Jagarlamudi is now on board to take over as the director of this ambitious biopic.

The makers of the film took their social media handle to announce the news. They also released a video where the film’s lead actor Nandamuri Balakrishna speaks about how the life of his father needs to be brought alive on screen only by director Krish.

It is said that director Krish will shoot the film from the beginning. This marks the second collaboration of director Krisha Jagarlamudi and Nandamuri Balakrishna. The two previously teamed up for the Balakrishna’s 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni. The film was launched amidst much fanfare, with India’s vice president Venkaiah Naidu being present at the event. Said to release in Sankaranti 2019, the film chronicle the life of NTR, including the phase before he became an icon. The late NTR was a popular Telugu film actor and Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
