This festive season, get ready to witness films from Malayalam cinema’s superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty whose films are set to release on Eid-ul-Fitr, 2018. The Mohanlal starrer Neerali and the Mammootty starrer Abrahaminte Santhathikal are gearing up for release.

The makers of Abrahaminte Santhathikal took to their official page to announce that ‘Derick Abraham IPS !! Coming this EID’. Mammootty is playing the role of officer Derick. The posters of the film sparks intensity and give us an indication that the film will a thriller. Directed by directed by Shaji Padoor, the film also stars Anson Paul, Kanika, Maqbool Salman, Renji Panicker.

Meanwhile, the makers of Mohanlal’s Neerali have not released any official release date yet, however sources say that the film is gearing up to release on the eve of Eid.

The trailer and posters of the film gave us a sneak-peek into Mohanlal’s character, Sunny, whose car derails in an accident, and ends up on the edge of a cliff. Directed by Ajay Varma, the film also stars Parvati Nair, Sai Kumar, Dileesh Pothen and Nassar. The much-awaited film marks the collaboration of Mohanlal and Nadiya Moidu after 30 years. The two had last worked together in the film super-hit film Nokkatha Doorathe Kannum Nattu.

The last time Mohanlal and Mammootty clashed at the box-office it was in 2016, when their films Pulimurugan and Thoppil Joppan released on 9th October.
