People imitate a scene from Sarkar by breaking and burning home appliances

If you are a social media user, you may have noticed videos of people throwing and breaking home appliances such as TV, grinder, and mixie with the Sarkar music playing in the background. The original scene from the film had its director A. R. Murgadoss throwing a grinder into the fire, which was done after Sundar (Vijay) asked people to question the government and gain their rights.
After protests from AIADM (read more here), who stated that it was an insult to their former CM Jayalalitha (she gave away freebies like these during her rule), the makers of the movie, Sun Pictures have removed the scene from the film. As much as their efforts have succeeded in deleting the scene from the film, the same can’t be said about what we are seeing on social media.
From apps such as Tik Tok to Facebook, the videos posted on these platforms show men, women and even children breaking laptops as well. They are even setting home appliances (which carry a sticker of Jayalalitha) on fire. Don’t believe us? Watch it here.

Sarkar starring Vijay, is running to packed houses. Doesn’t this seem like a terrible idea to gain likes on social media? What do you think about this?
