Vadivelu agrees to work on Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikecei?

A few months ago we reported that Vadivelu has been issued a red card by the producers council for causing financial loss to the producers of Imsai Arasan 24 am Pulikecei. They demanded that he pay a penalty of 9 crores. The decision was taken following Vadivelu’s absence to appear for the shoot of the film.

It is now reported that Vadivelu and director Shankar, the producer of the film have agreed to a compromise. Director Chimbudevan, who directed the first part will helm this project as well. The director, who is currently busy with a film produced by Venkat Prabhu, will begin working on the film shortly.

The film will also be produced by Lyca Productions and director Shankar, under his banner ‘S pictures’. Vadivelu, ChimbuDevan and Shankar previously collaborated for ‘Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikecei’, which released in 2006. The film was a runaway success at the box office.
