Watch: Vijay Sethupathi deliver a powerful line in Seethakathi

Vijay Sethupathi is all geared up for his 25th film Seethakathi which will release on 20th of December. Directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan, the film is said to revolve around an aged-superstar, who decides to stay away from the limelight due to a certain incident. Now, the makers have released a powerful punchline from the film, which has the viewers ponder over this pertaining questions. In the brief promo Ayya (Vijay Sethupathi) says, that ”the government is present for the people and that, we, the people aren’t present for the government.” Isn’t this a relevant question to ask?

Seethakathi also stars Ramya Nambeesan, Parvati Nair, veteran actors Archana, Mahendran and Mouli among others. The music has been composed by 96 movie fame Govind Vasantha. Seethakathi marks the second collaboration of director Balaji Tharaneetharan and Vijay Sethupathi. Their first film together was Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom in 2012.
