Rajinikanth is currently under the scanner for his views on the Tutucorin Sterlite issue which claimed 13 lives. Prior to it, Rajinikanth‘s soon-to-be-released film Kaala caught itself in a controversy. The Karnataka Films Chamber of Commerce. decided not to screen the film, due to The Confederation of Pro-Kannada Organisation’s displeasure of Rajinikanth’s comments on the on-going Cauvery issue. Now, the President of Tamil Film Producers’ Council and actor Vishal is aiming at resolving the issue to ensure the film releases in Karnataka. Addressing the media, Vishal stated that the council, along with the help of Prakash Raj and South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce have begun talks with KFCC. He also requested the council to view Kaala as a film, and that the actor’s political views should not interfere with the release. Earlier, this week Vishal tweeted his disappointment over the ban of Kaala.
